Signal Radar in short
What does Signal Radar show?
One pane instead of a dozen indicators: how close each strategy of your subscription is to an entry on the coin of the chart. Closeness runs from 0 to 100: long grows as a green area downwards, short as a red area upwards. 100 is the candle on which the strategy gave a signal.
How to read Signal Radar?
- The area approaches the Long or the Short line — an entry is building up; the area near zero — a signal is far.
- A bright dot on the area is a signal candle.
- A coin with two strategies shows the second one as lines; the names of the strategies stand in the legend next to the numbers.
- BTC has two strategies: Sentinel works on 15-minute candles, Pulse on hourly ones. The closeness of Pulse changes once an hour, after the hour closes.
- The number in the legend is the closeness on the candle under the crosshair; without it — on the last closed candle.
How to use Signal Radar?
- Keep the radar instead of the set of indicators of a strategy: it frees the chart.
- Watch the closeness grow before a signal to be at the screen when it comes.
- The radar only hints: the strategy enters on its own signal, and high closeness promises no entry.
Where can I find Signal Radar?
In the Liqwall terminal: the Indicators button, the Signals section, Signal Radar. The “Open in the terminal” button on this page opens the chart with it already added.

0:00What Signal Radar is
Ten strategy indicators in one panel. The strategy radar shows how close each strategy in your subscription is to an entry on the chart's coin.
0:11How to add Signal Radar to the chart
Press the Indicators button, open the Liqwall list and type Signal Radar in the search. It is available to strategy subscribers and appears in a separate panel under the chart.
0:23How to read Signal Radar
The scale runs from 0 to 100. Long is a green area going down. Short is a red one going up. When the area approaches the Long or Short line, the entry conditions are coming together.
Near zero, an entry is far away. 100 is the candle on which the strategy actually opened a trade. A bright dot lights up there. If a coin has two strategies, the second is shown as lines, and the names and numbers are in the legend.
0:50Signal Radar settings
In the settings choose all strategies or one, keep both sides or only long. The long and short levels can be dragged with the mouse right on the panel. Each strategy lives at its own pace. Sentinel changes with 15-minute candles. Pulse — once an hour, after the hour closes.
1:09An example on a real chart
An example. Bitcoin. October 8. Evening.
The price is falling from 82.5 thousand. 6 p.m. Sentinel's closeness to a long is about 40. In 45 minutes it rises to 90.
And at 19:15 the dot lights up. The strategy entered a long near 81 thousand. An hour later, at 8 p.m., Pulse also showed a long entry dot. The price dipped once more to 80 thousand 345, and the next day bitcoin rose to 83 and a half thousand.
The radar showed in advance that two strategies were approaching an entry, and by the time of the entry you were already at the screen.
1:50What to pair Signal Radar with
Keep Wall Pressure next to it — Sentinel, Shield and Ladder are built on this book imbalance. Market Pressure will show the overall market backdrop at the entry. And Smart Money Zones — the zone in which the entry is forming.
