Hyperliquid Whales in short
What does Hyperliquid Whales show?
A card sits at the entry price of every large position: side, size, leverage and entry, and on the second line the position's liquidation price, stop and take-profit. Longs are green, shorts are red. Liquidation and stop levels are also marked on the chart with separate tags.
How to read Hyperliquid Whales?
- The card “Long $85M ×12 · entry 81,833” sits at the position's entry price.
- The second line of the card is the liquidation price, the nearest stop and the nearest take-profit; the share of the position each one closes is in parentheses.
- A yellow dashed line with a lightning bolt is the liquidation level of the position.
- A dotted line is the stop; a thin line is the take-profit, when turned on.
- “no stop, no TP” means the position has no closing orders.
How to use Hyperliquid Whales?
- See whether large players are in profit or loss against the current price.
- A large liquidation level near price is a level the market may be pulled to.
- Set “Min size, $M” to keep only the biggest positions.
What do you often see on Hyperliquid Whales?
- A large position's liquidation near price has not acted as a magnet — price need not go there.
- A big account may hold an offsetting position on another account or exchange.
- Leverage and liquidation price change when the account adds margin.
- It does not predict direction on its own: it shows which big players are in profit or under water.

0:22How to read Hyperliquid Whales
Each card sits at the position's entry price. Green is a long, red is a short. The first line shows the side, size, leverage and entry price. The second line shows where the position has its liquidation, stop and take-profit.
The yellow dashed line with a lightning bolt is this position's liquidation price. The dotted line is its stop. The thin line is its take-profit. If there are no closing orders, the card says so: no stop, no take-profit.
Positions shown sets how many positions to show. Min size, in millions of dollars, cuts off the small ones: raise it and only the giants remain. The Liquidation levels, Stop levels and Take-profit levels checkboxes turn on the liquidation, stop and take-profit lines. Watch which of the big players are in profit, which are at a loss, and how close their liquidations are to the price.
1:16An example on a real chart
An example. Bitcoin. October 18. The most visible long near the price: 111 million dollars with 40x leverage.
Entry around 81,900. Its stop is 80,500. The liquidation is around 80,000. At a price of 81,700 the position is slightly at a loss, and its stop is less than 1.5% away.
Its liquidation is part of that bright band near 80,000 that you can see on the Liquidation Map. And if you zoom the scale out downwards, the two largest shorts in the coin appear, over 200 million each. They entered at 76 and 78 thousand and are now at a loss, but with 5x leverage their liquidations are very far away. This shows which of the big players have a large safety margin and whose limit is very close.
