Price Action Toolkit in short
What does Price Action Toolkit show?
A price-action toolkit on the price chart: BOS and CHoCH structure shifts, order blocks with volume and buy/sell split, imbalances, equal highs and lows, liquidity sweeps by wicks, trend lines, patterns and premium/discount zones. Everything is built from closed candles.
How to read Price Action Toolkit?
- BOS means structure continues, CHoCH means it changes, CHoCH+ is a confirmed change. 'thin' on a break means weak participation, 'run' means strong.
- An order block is a blue (buy) or orange (sell) zone where a strong move started; bars inside show the buy/sell share, the block's volume is on the right.
- Light-blue and pink boxes are imbalances: gaps price crossed in one push.
- Lilac and light-blue dashed lines mark equal highs and lows; sweep markers show where a wick pierced the level and price came back.
- Premium and discount zones split the range: the top is expensive, the bottom cheap.
How to use Price Action Toolkit?
- Start with internal structure and order blocks, then add one layer at a time so the chart stays readable.
- Look for price returning into order blocks and imbalances in the direction of the higher structure; 1h–4h works best.
- Check zones against the book with Liquidity Map and Wall Pressure, and thin areas against Session Volume Profile.
What do you often see on Price Action Toolkit?
- A break with strong participation ('run') usually holds more often than a weak one ('thin').
- A wick sweep of equal highs or lows followed by a quick return is often a stop hunt.
- An order block that lines up with a real wall in the book usually matters more than one in empty space.
- It does not predict direction on its own — better as a filter on order-book and trade data.
Where can I find Price Action Toolkit?
In the Liqwall terminal: the Indicators button, the Chart section, Price Action Toolkit. The “Open in the terminal” button on this page opens the chart with it already added.
Lesson text
0:00What Price Action Toolkit is
All of price action in one indicator, with volume built in. Price Action Toolkit marks up the market structure, order blocks, imbalances and liquidity sweeps right on the chart.
0:12How to add Price Action Toolkit to the chart
Open the indicator list, go to the Chart section and select Price Action Toolkit. The markup appears on the price chart and is built from closed candles.
0:22How to read Price Action Toolkit
BOS marks the continuation of the structure. CHoCH marks its change. CHoCH with a plus is a change with confirmation. An order block is the zone where a strong move began. The bars inside the block show who traded more there — buyers or sellers. A thin tag on a break means weak participation, run means strong.
0:43Price Action Toolkit settings
In the settings, each layer is switched on separately. Internal structure, Swing structure, Order blocks, imbalances, equal highs and lows. Wick sweeps, trend lines, patterns and premium and discount zones. It is more convenient to turn on one or two layers.
1:04An example on a real chart
An example. At the bottom of the chart is an order block from about 80 to 81 thousand dollars. On October 8 the price reached it, touched 80 thousand 300 and turned around. By October 12 bitcoin was already at 84,300.
On October 15 the block was tested a second time. The wick pierced it down to 79,700, but the same four-hour candle closed above the block, at 82,400. That is a liquidity sweep under the zone, and by 8 in the evening of the same day the price was at 82,600.
1:44What to pair Price Action Toolkit with
An order block is especially valuable when real orders stand on it. Check it with Liquidity Map from the Order Book section. Wall Pressure from the Signals section will show which side the order book favors, and Session Volume Profile — whether the imbalance passed through an empty spot of the profile.
2:03The takeaway
Structure shows the shape of the market, volume — its strength. Price Action Toolkit is in the Liqwall terminal, in the Chart section.
