Questions and answers
What is the long/short ratio?
The number of accounts holding a long divided by the number holding a short. A ratio above 1 means more accounts are long than short.
Why do top traders differ from all accounts?
The share for top traders is measured by the size of their positions, the share for all accounts — by the number of accounts. Large traders often stand against the crowd.
