Questions
How is funding calculated?
Payment = position size × rate. $10,000 at 0.01% every 8 hours is $1 per payment, $3 a day and $90 over 30 days.
Who pays — longs or shorts?
With a positive rate longs pay shorts, with a negative rate shorts pay longs. The calculator shows whether your side pays or receives.
Why convert to an annual rate?
To compare: 0.01% every 8 hours is about 11% a year — that is what a long pays to hold the position all year at that rate.
Where do I see current funding?
